Decorative Plates To Hang On Wall

There are few things more charming and retro than decorative plates hanging on your wall. But these aren’t your grandmother’s hanging plates. Only one or two of these plates resemble the prized plates that once hung on the walls in pioneer houses or in the dusty houses of the early border settlements. These are works of art intended to be displayed and are not used for a table or part of a table setting.

Multi-panel displays

Tie your room decoration together with a coordinated multi-panel arrangement. Some are available as sets of individual panels, but others are already arranged with a metal frame ready to hang on your wall. The panels that are not already arranged have a coordinated theme and sometimes come with their own hangers so you don’t have to rely on the hardware panel hangers.

Metal plates

Metal plates are a little safer than ceramic plates for wall hanging. They are less likely to be damaged if a hanger gives way and drops them on the floor. Additionally, baked enamel is a great way to add bold colors that won’t fade easily in your kitchen or dining room. From artistic arrangements made of galvanized pewter to unique Art Deco designs, metal plates make a bold statement on your walls.

Secure ceramic plates

If you want to collect plates, you may want to secure ceramic plates. There’s no better way than using one of the metal frames, similar to the plate sets shown here. With the help of a frame, you can slide panels in and out of your collection without having to worry about changing wall fixings. Otherwise, many arts and crafts stores sell custom-made clips specifically for hanging wall panels. Below are ten examples of hanging wall panels. The variety and type of plates is almost unlimited, so you have an excellent chance of finding the plate or plates that go with your interior design theme. You can use the signs to remember events or trips, or you can use them to dream a little about other places and different climates.

Galvanized wall panels

Spice up your cottage or country kitchen theme with this arrangement of galvanized plates and metal rollers. The arrangement combines the best of the memory of rain on a tin roof with shabby chic elegance. Add metal milk cans, galvanized basins, and similar items for a real walk back in time. Nothing says land like dish tubs and milk devices from days gone by.

Flower hanging plate arrangement

Enjoy the look of baked enamel plates decorated with bright floral designs and depicted on a metal frame. This cheerful design will brighten up any kitchen or create an interesting way of greeting visitors as they walk down the front hallway. You can easily add appropriate vases or flower arrangements to the room.

Flower wall panel decor

Enjoy the bold, surprising colors of this collection of hanging wall panels. The stylized flower patterns are perfect for the entrance area, living room, dining room or kitchen and embellish every empty wall. Goes well with strong ceramic vases with summery cut flowers or Art Deco accents or to brighten up your home in winter.

Glass wall panel

This wall panel made of hand-blown glass, reminiscent of Salvador Dali, can easily be presented as a table or niche ornament. Its color tones range subtly from clear to yellow to a blue-green that is reminiscent of water. Green stripes that resemble seaweed or water grass run through them. This delicate plate is reminiscent of a fragile aquatic ecology.

Day at the Beach 9-piece wall decor

Do you remember that wonderful day at the beach or dream of going there with this nine piece wall decoration. Each plate is pierced in two places to allow for a leather strap for hanging. Line drawings in blue show things like seashells, snail shells, and starfish. The strict treatment of the drawings makes these panels excellent for a minimalist decor.

Enjoy classic designs of birds or flowers on a brown vintage background surrounded by “lace”. The entire design is rendered on the metal plate. These pieces can add a calm, if somewhat nostalgic, beauty to any room in the house. These can easily be combined with Victorian decor or even Edwardian.

Andean women

This hand-painted plate is shown in bold colors and shows Francisco Guerrero’s “Women of the Andes”. Three women are shown in silhouettes wearing the traditional hats and scarves worn by women in this region. Each woman is shown with an ola, a large clay pot, and a basket in the center of the grouping.
